The changes mark a new era for Ramona’s under the leadership of second- and third-generation family members, who carry the business forward with the same commitment to authentic flavor and fresh local ingredients they’ve promised for 65 years.
Ramona’s has been delivering uncompromised Northern Mexican cuisine since 1947, when Romana Banuelos first began selling her handmade tortillas from a humble Los Angeles storefront. The business flourished as her Californian customers fell in love with their first exposure to true Mexican flavor. To this day, Ramona’s customers are a loyal community now spread around the world, united in their refusal to settle for less than real Mexican taste. True to its roots, Ramona’s has maintained a commitment to traditional recipes, fresh locally sourced ingredients and preservative-free food.
